Service Canada Travel Guidelines:
Service Canada does not accept requests for holiday time (suspended benefits) during the 48 week Self Employment program. Before applying to an intake, check the intake start and end dates to ensure you have no holiday commitments.

Travel is permissible within weekends and statutory holidays.

Business travel is only permitted when detailed in the program application package and business plan - and only on dates that do not coincide with scheduled workshops.

Participants receiving approval for business travel are obligated to advise Aspire staff in writing 3 weeks prior to any travel dates during the 48 week program.

Particpants are obligated to advise Aspire staff in writing - prior to the travel date - should the need arise for travel due to emergency family matters.
