Marilyn Magas

Marilyn Magas, principal of M. Magas & Associates Inc., is behind a number of employment related progams here on the Coast in addition to Aspire. These include the Sunshine Coast Employment Centre, Jobwave, Implicit Career Search, and the Young Adults program. In addition to her role at the helm of her own agency, Marilyn, a highly successful entrepreneur in her own right, is an avid supporter of local business and a passionate spokesperson for community involvement in business development and expansion.

Francine Lucas

Francine enjoys being a part of making “great ideas” happen and approaches life and work with an independent and entrepreneurial flare. Since 1999, she has provided administrative, marketing and consulting services to small business, government and non-profit organizations on the Sunshine Coast and was instrumental in the creation and development of a regional arts organization. Francine is familiar with the challenges and opportunities that exist in our community and is knowledgeable of the array of resources available.

Niv Harris, MA

Niv brings over 20 years of experience in program development, teaching and training, mentoring, and coaching based on leading edge cognitive and psychological theory. She has a successful business as a professional speaker, futurist and consultant specializing in applications of psychological theories of personality type to business relationships and interpersonal communication. Popular topics include: Solution Thinking, Brainology, People Reading, Aging with Wisdom, Lighten up Means Brighten Up :Humour in the Workplace, and Wellness. In addition to her University of Toronto MA, Niv counts among her tool set 20 years experience with Myers-Briggs and Kiersey-Bates Type Temperament Assessment, Adlerian Therapy, Control Theory, Jungian Theory, Reality Therapy and Whole Brain Learning. She holds certificates in Myers Briggs Type Indicator Assessment, Strong Interest Inventory, Unified Transition Theory, True Colors, and Personality Dimensions, and is a Certified Practitioner of NLPT (Neuro Linguistic Programming).

Heather Ingram

Heather is an educator and business person with over 10 years experience helping small businesses owners develop their budgeting and financial tracking systems. An Aspire alumnus, Heather has helped hundreds of clients experience success in mathematics, bookkeeping, and other subjects through her own small business, The Learning Support Centre. She is now excited to be working with the Aspire team as a co-director to assist others in making complex concepts simple and easy to understand.
