Niv Harris, MA
Niv brings over 20 years of experience in program development,
teaching and training, mentoring, and coaching based
on leading edge cognitive and psychological theory.
She has a successful business as a professional speaker,
futurist and consultant specializing in applications
of psychological theories of personality type to business
relationships and interpersonal communication. Popular
topics include: Solution Thinking, Brainology, People
Reading, Aging with Wisdom, Lighten up Means Brighten
Up :Humour in the Workplace, and Wellness.
In addition to her University of Toronto MA, Niv counts
among her tool set 20 years experience with Myers-Briggs
and Kiersey-Bates Type Temperament Assessment, Adlerian
Therapy, Control Theory, Jungian Theory, Reality Therapy
and Whole Brain Learning.
She holds certificates in Myers Briggs Type Indicator
Assessment, Strong Interest Inventory, Unified Transition
Theory, True Colors, and Personality Dimensions, and
is a Certified Practitioner of NLPT (Neuro Linguistic
Programming).
Claudia Redfern, MA
Claudia is a successful business person experienced
in all phases of the business cycle. Her specialty is
developing achievable business plans that are true to
a business owner's objectives and goals. Past clients
say they appreciate Claudia’s approachable style and
practical ideas that connect their businesses with their
target markets.
Claudia's 30 year career includes ownership in a chain
of 4 furniture stores (Quebec and New York City), a
print and electronic gift catalogue, and a web development
and internet marketing company. As a consultant she’s
provided services to the tourism, retail, wholesale,
manufacturing, and non-profit sectors.
Claudia has an MA in Applied Communications specializing
in marketing communications. She also holds certificates
in General Counselling and Internet Publishing. In addition
to running the Aspire Program with Niv, Claudia is a
business advisor for Community Futures, Turning Point
Consulting Advisory Group and various private clients.
She is a contributor to Just Business - the Sunshine
Coast's business magazine.

Marilyn Magas
Marilyn Magas, principal of M. Magas & Associates
Inc., is behind a number of employment related progams
here on the Coast in addition to Aspire.
These include the Sunshine Coast Employment Centre,
Jobwave, Implicit Career Search, and the Young Adults
program.
In addition to her role at the helm of her own agency,
Marilyn, a highly successful entrepreneur in her own
right, is an avid supporter of local business and a
passionate spokesperson for community involvement in
business development and expansion.

Ron Howes
Ron has been the Loans Manager at CFDC since 1992,
working on a part-time basis that has generally been
three days a week. He has a background in commercial
banking for businesses of all sizes and small business
ownership & management.
He enjoys being able to assist businesses on the Sunshine
Coast to succeed with business advice and some of their
financing needs. He is also involved in the ownership
of three other businesses: Sechelt Ice, Sunshine Coast
Frozen Bait and as a licensed Baliff/ Collector with
A.R. Services Ltd.
Dawn Miller
The focus of Dawn’s work is on helping businesses and
individuals to grow and develop. Contracts have included
strategic planning, project management, program design
and implementation, needs analyses, training and mentoring
program development, group facilitation, as well as
organizing focus groups and other input processes.
Recognition has included:

- Business Woman of the Year, Prince George, 1997
Ron Nelson
Ron is a CA, retiring to the Sunshine Coast after an
international business career with an emphasis on organizational
structure, strategic planning, project evaluation, corporate
governance and evaluation of business risks.
Ron has always been active in professional and community
activities, most recently with Dakota Ridge, as a Director
and Treasurer of the Sechelt and District Chamber of
Commerce, and as Chair for the South Coast / Mountain
Regional District Transportation Advisory Committee.
